TWIST TONGUE is a free arcade. This page says exactly what it keeps about you, because the honest list is short enough to print.

WITHOUT SIGNING IN

The first time you open the arcade it creates an anonymous player for you and gives it five coins. That player is a random identifier — no name, no email, no profile. Its token is kept in your browser's local storage, and the arcade's server keeps:

Scores and initials are public — that is what a world board is. Nothing else in that list is shown to anyone.

IF YOU SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE

Signing in is optional and the arcade works without it. It exists for one reason: so your coins and your scores survive a cleared browser and follow you to another device.

When you sign in, Google hands the arcade a signed token, and the arcade keeps two things out of it: sub, the stable identifier Google uses for your account, and your email address. That is all. The arcade asks Google for no other permission — no contacts, no files, no calendar, no access to any Google service — and it never sees your Google password.

Your email is stored so a person can be identified across devices and contacted about their own account. It is never published on the board, never shown to other players, and never mailed for marketing.

WHAT IS NOT DONE WITH IT

Nothing here is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers, data brokers or analytics companies. There is no tracking pixel and no analytics script. The poster on the arcade's corner television is drawn by the arcade itself for a made-up brand; no ad network is involved and nothing about you leaves through it.

COOKIES

The arcade sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage for your player token and your own preferences (sound, controls, cabinet frame), all of which stay in your browser. If you use the Google sign-in button, that button is Google's own code loaded from Google, and Google may set its own cookies on its domains under Google's privacy policy, not this one.

THIRD PARTIES

Google, when you choose to sign in — Google performs the sign-in, so Google knows it happened. The server hosting the arcade also keeps ordinary web server logs, which include IP addresses and requested URLs, for security and debugging.

HOW LONG IT IS KEPT

Wallets, scores and accounts are kept while the arcade is running, so that a world board still means something a year from now. Anonymous players that are never signed in may be cleared out over time.

DELETING YOUR DATA

Write to litbin.studio@gmail.com from the address you signed in with and your account, its wallet and its scores are deleted. If you would rather only be forgotten in this browser, clearing site data for arcade.twisttongue.com removes the local token; if you never signed in, that wallet is then unreachable by anyone, including us.

CHANGES

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
