TWIST TONGUE is a free arcade you play in a browser. Using it means accepting what is written here.

THE ARCADE IS FREE

Every cabinet is free to play. Nothing on this site charges money, and there is no way to pay us: no card is ever asked for, and no payment processor is connected to the arcade at all. The coin pack advertised inside the room for three dollars is a simulation — it is part of the arcade fiction, it says so before you accept it, and it charges nothing, because a fake checkout that reads as a real one would be a lie.

COINS

Coins are play tokens. They have no monetary value, they cannot be bought, sold, exchanged or cashed out, and they are not property. Your balance lives on our server and can be corrected if a bug hands out coins that were never earned.

SCORES

A score reaches the world board only if the server can replay your game and get your score back out of it. Runs that do not verify are refused, and scores obtained by modifying the game, automating play, or tampering with the traffic can be removed. Nothing personal about that: an unverifiable board is not a board.

The initials you type are published beside your score. Type initials you are happy for strangers to read; anything abusive can be removed.

YOUR ACCOUNT

Signing in with Google is optional. The first time you sign in, the wallet you are already carrying is claimed by your account. Every browser you sign in with afterwards adopts that same wallet, and whatever coins that browser was holding are discarded — balances are never added together, because every new visitor arrives with free coins and adding them up would turn sign-in into a mint. A browser stays linked to the account that claimed it.

WHAT WE DO NOT PROMISE

The arcade is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it works, stays available, or keeps your scores forever. It can change, break, or be taken down. Cabinets, coins and boards may be reset if something goes badly wrong. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the arcade — and since nothing is charged, there is nothing to refund.

ACCEPTABLE USE

Do not attack the arcade, its server, or the other people playing on it: no attempts to break in, no flooding it with traffic, no scraping it wholesale, no using it to distribute anything harmful. Accounts and wallets doing any of that can be closed.

WHAT IS OURS

The arcade, its cabinets, its code and its artwork are ours. Every graphic and every sound in it is generated from a seed by that code — no borrowed assets, no other company's characters, and every brand you see inside the room is invented. Any resemblance to a real product is a coincidence of the generator.

CHANGES AND LAW

These terms can change; the date at the top changes with them. They are governed by the laws of Mexico.
